Issue 8; Cracking weekend in Krakow

By T W Coombs

I struggled what to call this article to be honest, I like to keep it catchy but wasn’t sure if to go serious or a bit cheesy, obviously I went with a little rhyming cheese.  I think because the weekend was a mixture of cheesy fun and serious times which will come apparent later.  First, why Krakow?

Issue 8; Not Quite a Sommelier

By T W Coombs

As the title suggests the next 700 words or so will be about wine, mostly my journey of wine with some of my favourites thrown in, also a great way to track your wine journey using your phone.

Issue 7; Vino (Faversham) – The Review

By T W Coombs

Open for approximately three months now and situated in the beautiful market place of Faversham, Kent is a wine shop with a twist.  Vino is owned by Fabio and David and run daily by Fabio who has brought some Mediterranean customs to the experience of buying and trying wine.

Issue 7; The Sports Wear Dilemma

by T W Coombs

I have a dilemma and I know a few that do when it comes to the new craze of designer sportswear and wearing more sports styled garments and shoes.  I have written before about my dislike of this style of clothing outside of the gym, it might be my age at 35 or the fact that when I was in my late teens the people in tracksuits were not the most reputable group.  Even if their styled ass baggy tracksuit matched, and thankfully even to this day this is a no in the fashion world.

Issue 7; The Damn In Between

By T W Coombs

We are in the glorious British Summer time which can only mean one thing it will be really hot one minute and then out of nowhere rain and the temperature drops like a bomb leaving you high and not so dry when it comes to your wardrobe.  But this does give you one excuse.

Issue 7; Would the Doge be happy?

By T W Coombs esq.

If you are not up with your Italian history then I am writing about the oddest and most picture postcard city in the world, Venice.  With its waterways and alleyways, it's weaving streets, the maze of its bridges and the majestic stillness of a city with no cars.  It is a place like no other.

A last minute three night trip was booked with Grace and a small group of friends and family to Venice, so off we went and to my knowledge my first trip to Italy.  And what a place to start.

Issue 6; New at Next – 4 Piece Round Up

By T W Coombs

If you don’t know me, then just to let you know that I do 99% of my clothes shopping in Next, from top to bottom, either by online delivery or in one of the many stores.  They have  good range of what I want and do keep up with trends, and the new releases on the online store are no exception, so I have picked 4 of my favourites.

Issue 6; Are you still Afraid of the Dark?

By T W Coombs

Horror films come and go, he are constant in our lives, most are rubbish or copies of what has come before.  Every now and again one will come up that really gets under peoples skin, take the hype over the Paranormal Activity franchise.  Personally I hated them, and found them mostly boring, but people will follow hype no matter how lame a film truly is.  It wasn’t even the budget as some lower budget films are great. It Follows for one was a film worth keeping an eye on whilst the other hid as you slowly got freaked out.

Issue 6; 2017

by T W Coombs

We have suddenly gotten half way through January, most have started drinking alcohol again and added the gym membership to the previous year’s ones to gather dust again.  We have resigned ourselves to being slightly overweight and as the cold weather persists are quite happy to vegetate in front of Netflix and Amazon TV.
